Find Your Circle.
Writing may happen alone. Becoming a better writer doesn’t have to.
Maybe you want to learn how to turn memories into memoir. Write meaningful daily devotionals. Figure out what to do with the book you’ve finally written. Or perhaps there’s another corner of the writing life you’d like to explore with a few other writers.
Storysmithing Circles are small, focused online workshops built around a particular kind of writing—or a particular skill writers need.
We’ll study good writing, discover what makes it work, put those ideas into practice, and learn alongside other writers doing the same.
READ • NOTICE • LEARN • WRITE • SHARE
Circles are intentionally small—typically 3–8 participants—so there’s room to ask questions, try things, share work, and participate in the conversation.
Some Circles may meet for a few sessions; others may go a little deeper. Some will involve writing between meetings. Others will focus more on learning, discussion and developing a practical plan. The subject helps determine the shape of the Circle.
What they share is simple:
Learn something. Try something. Write something better.

GETTING YOUR BOOK PUBLISHED
You’ve written a book—or you’re writing one. What happens next?
Don’t see yours? Tell me what you’d like to learn. Some of the best Circles may begin simply because a few writers raised their hands.
Still Not Sure?
